Both finals took place last night at Rileys Purley Way
Rod Altes 4 and Paul Macguire beat Dominic D'Souza. and Mick Samuel 0
Rod broke dished first frame
In the second frame Dom broke, went for dish and missed the black. Rod cleared up.
Rod broke dished third frame
Mick broke missed the finish, some safety play, then final frame went to Rod and Paul
Graham Thompson and Rob Gator beat Barrie Parrant and Will White 3-0 in the plate final
There were no break dishes in the plate final. Barrie and Will appeared to suffer from nerves as they both made several mistakes which allowed Graham and Rob to take out a composed win in under 45 minutes

you mean your team mate gary??? the plot thickens...!!!
if your allowed to do it then i can't blame you for taking advantage of it but it's stupid that it's allowed to happen and surely just common sense form the officials!!!
now it's gonna be scotch doubles with more emphasis on 'alternating' what are the rules with that...?

I'm not being drawn on the whys and wherefores of who should have had the breaks in that final, however, with Scotch Doubles being an alternating shot format there is a school of thought that says the player whose shot it is next should break . . . |

Surely it doesn't matter in Scotch doubles as nobody will be breaking and dishing...
