Waddon deserved the win, as they took their chances and we didn't. Good entertainment though.
First time we've ever had 10 players turn up, and with the new 5x2 format, everyone got a game . Add the travelling 'supporters' and we had like 15 'Beachers there.
We look forward to welcoming the Ship next week in our last league of the summer.
Fortune Favours the Brave...
First time this season we turned out the minimum 5. Players on holiday, two matches in a week syndrome, so nothing tactical in our approach to this match. 2 zip down, we raced to 4-2. Only to be pegged back and we had to rely again on a last frame win for victory from Sting (who btw is playing some sick pool).
That puts us 6 points adrift of our stable mates, with the big match looming at the Theatre of Dreams next Tuesday.
