11 point lead and dreams of the 'double' becoming a possible reality each week that ticks by.....Surely, the Unpreds can't blow it!
You have to feel that if the Rack Pack produce a sizeable win and the Prop spank the 193's, and the gap reduces to let's say 6 or 7 points, the Prop may smell blood come next weeks big encounter.
The innocent bystander and neutral is almost willing some drama to unfold in the last weeks.....Well I am anyway.
Down at the foot of the table, its a 4 horse race. If one thing has been proved all ready this season it's the Legion and Jolly struggling through the summer, is hardly a convincing statement that both can survive come a tougher winter campaign. Tonight's clash between the Legion and Jolly will decide the fate for one of those sides. The Pawleyne on recent form have elevated themselves to favourites for the drop. Not quite sure how they have produced some awful results with the line up they have. With the Hot Shots seemingly self destructing by the week and clearly in freefall, tonight may be the life line the Pawleyne need.
193's 1-9 Prop
Cuemasters 5-5 Patriots
Legion 6-4 Jolly
Unpreds 4-6 Rack Pack
Hot Shots 5-5 Pawleyne Arms

We are without Sean Kelly and Michael Porter tonight so I anticipate another night when the ripcord isnt going to open.
We are goners I am afraid, it will be the first time I have been in a team relegated since my first year 1986, when we were 14 year olds left to get pillaged in Div 1.

Power - are you starting a Prop Fan Club?? 9-1? They might have got that result if Andy Shaw turned up on his own!
There aren't many if any teams that could turn up at The Surrey and get a 9-1, not unless they are all world class midgets playing with little cues! |

Is this an admission that you do get more of an advantage from your home table than most teams? |

Now, Now Spencer...
It's not a case of more advantage, we still have to play shots from either side with a sawn off pub cue!
The difference is as much as we don't like it either, it's fair to say that over the years we have simply got used to it.
Visiting teams only have to play on it once a season - we've got to play on the bloody thing every other week!
There is however only one home game left for us this season and there after I will be playing at Suzy's - thank god!! |
