Beech Tree 5 - 5 Farley Eden

We were 5-2 down so 5-5 was a great result for us.

The table was dire, and extremely dark so made it a bit of a lottery. Pedro the mighty spanish fisherman did win the final frame in great style. Bless him hes only 70 years old!!

The Ship 7 v 3 The Waddon

Was nice to return the stuffing they gave us earlier in the season.

BeachTree 5 - 5 Eden

5-2 up against the team that were top, but 'Pedro' did play a blinder in that last game. For a 70-year old fisherman he's got some game. If someone had offered us a draw against Eden at the start, we would have taken it.

Don't think our table is too bad, but the lighting we do need to sort out, Sting's right there. Smile

Excellent result for the Ship and the Big Spuds.

Beechtree played well last night and had us in all sorts of trouble. I'm glad we stuck by our rotation system where every member of the squad has been given a game regardless of the score or opponent. It would have been an easy get out to throw in a couple of big guns in the 2nd set. So it was great to see Pedro bring home, in real style, a draw.

We've opened the door in the past 3 weeks for our fellow stable mates who have sneaked their way back into it. Title decider in 2 weeks time with the Big Spuds for Shockne:
