The forms for the 2008/2009 Winter season are floating about amongst the secretaries so now is the time to spill the beans on any potential transfers or at least get the rumour mill going Wink

I'll get the ball rolling *

Ian Chapman (2007 Summer League Singles Winner) - Hot Shots to The Eagles

Steve Field (2004/2005 #1 Ranked Player) - Farley Eden to The Propeller

Luke Turnbull - Rileys Unpredictables to The Eagles

* I will accept no liability as to the accuracy of the above statements Smile

Danny Evans and Donna Evans to The Rack Pack. . . . Play when they can.

Dont worry Mark, I shall post their signatures soon.

Mark Miller and Johnny Goldsmith to The Rack Pack (Ok, they dont realise yet)

Sean Halligan and Rod Altes to The Rack Pack (ditto, as above)

Andy Esgrove and Hugh Telford to The Rack Pack (ditto, as above, above)

We are looking a pretty strong team for the winter, huh?

Following confirmation last night that The Surrey 193's will not be entering a team for the fourthcoming winter season...

Looks like The Rack Pack have three more signings: Andy Telford, Lenny Telford and Karl Rous...

Should bring the squad up to about 20 now! laughing

In what is undoubtedly the biggest transfer news for some time, my sources (Wiggy) tell me that Morray Dolan, Rod Altes, Ian Chapman and Andy Shaw have signed terms with The Propeller . .

with Wayne & supposedly Leon back on board that makes the Prop very strong favourites for the 1st division.Good luck to them, watched Morray play last night poss the best player I have seen in ten years. Wiggy asked me to try and sign him two months ago. I replied," he won't want to play for a Croydon team" doh!

If thats correct, the backbone of the Hot Shots side has gone. I heard if the Hot Shots had a team then Rod would play for them regardless.

So who is going to be surplus to requirements at the Prop if they sign all 4 of the above, and Leon/Wayne are back full time?

Nuttmeg, who have you replaced Danny with? Big loss for the Ego's.

I've since heard that Rod thing is a bit of a jackanory and Cliff isn't playing next year and the likelyhood of Leon returning is less than Harold Shipman's Patients but even still they will have Wayne, Morray, Gary, Chapman, Shaw et al.

With the Hot Shots not being the same team of years gone by and with Kyle possibly not playing as he's going back to college, the coming season has been blown wide open . .

Macca in "Broken CAPS LOCK Button" Shocker!

It's Wiggy getting carried away bless him . . Even still, any two of those will still be over and above what the others in Division One have signed so it's setting it up for an interesting season . .
