BeachTree 6 - 4 Forum 'B'
Good win against a great bunch of lads from the Forum. We rode our luck in a number of games, found ourselves 4-1 up after the first 5, but we'll take any form of win this summer.

Well played to the waddon who played very well, coupled with us not hitting the usual heights 
Now for a rant................
Frame 2 we are 1 nil down with barry watkins at the table, the guy he is playing fouls & leaves barry snookered - So Barry calls foul snooker & points to 1 of his opponents balls & nominates as his, he then pots it & they go mad saying it is a foul - we all explain it becomes his ball for that shot & then up steps Mr committee (Mark Pantony) & starts ranting we are wrong there is no such thing as a free table - we then attempt to explain the rukes to him - he of course is having none of it he did a similar thing at our place when barry was playing - quite amazing that this person is on a pool committee & doesn't even have the 1st idea about rules 
Either way barry won & we still lost but if the guys up top have no idea then how the fcuk are we supposed to move on 
good result for the small spuds - looks like it is all back on & winner will take all in our end of season battle

Just looking at the tables and the results coming in, and as the top two Farley teams break away, bit of a scrap at the bottom developing.
Thanks to Jamie and the Big Pototoes, we've gone above the Reform Tavern. Does anyone know how Chopper Squad got on?
Truey, looks like we'll try to take some points off your guys in a couple of weeks to help the fight against relegation.  mfg:

The Folly 8 Chopper Squad 2
I would have thought Martin Pantony would have learnt his lesson. He did a similar thing to us last season, and had the rule wrong. We lost the frame and match. |
