The Manor 8-2 The Seamen

The Manor are a good team who are full of confidence on their home table. They also had better of the rub, which always helps....they deserved the win, but the scoreline doesn't reflect how close some of the games were....

Good luck for the rest of the season, guys...

same result as the beginning of the season. well played tonight guys, took your chances.

Goodfellas 6 - 4 The Imperials

Good match this one between the 2 Rileys teams. Always has a bit of an edge to it. Lads done well and took their chances to win the last 4 frames and silence the roars from the Imps. We had our share of the luck as well though and the score could have easlily been the other way around.

Langley Sports 2-8 Farley Loyalists

A strong performance from us last night saw the match go our way big time, going 5-0 up usually helps on that front. I did start to get a little nervous last night when they pulled back to 5-2 but the tail end players came good and wrapped up the match for us.

The Langley are a great bunch of lads and the BBQ made a real nice change to the usual servings of sandwiches. Good luck for the rest of the season lads. thumb

C'mon the Loyalists!!!! drunk

It's not as sinple to work out as that. If all you do to calculate the table is add 10 points to those teams who've not had the bye yet it's not a true reflection. If we assume everyone who's not had one yet were to get their 10 bye points next week, tha Imperials and Dukes (the only 2 teams to have had them this half) would still have a game to play so there'd still be 10 points for them, albeit divided between them.
As your adapted table stands, everyone else has now played one more match than those two teams, which is clearly a false representation of how it would really look and therefore meaningless. Nice try but unrealistic so it's nothing to go by.

Unfortunately, that's the problem with byes, you only get a true picture at the half-way point, then it's all up in the air again until the end of season.

Ahh Billy, thats not nice. After we travelled all the way to your place, played with your dotted ball with no complaint AND let you win. I'd have expected a bit more grace. LOL.
Well done to the goodfellas last night, played well and took your chances, unlike us. Good luck for the rest of the season. (But not too much)laughing

Oh Chuckles dont be like that. You know i love you all really!! It was a big boost for us last night beating the league leaders after a mediocre few weeks. On a personal level it was great to get a frame as my form and luck hasnt been too good lately. LIkewise good luck to you as well but hopefully we'll pip you and the other contenders at the end of the season! Smile
