Cuemasters 5 - 5 Surrey 193's
From 4-1 down, the result looks fair - but does not compensate for a fluke on the black and two blacks that rolled off, only to hang in the jaws..
Might have been a different story had these gone in..
Wait till we get them down ours - on our 4'3" 'Fisher Price' Table!!

Shocker for the Prop!
Time is on thier side though.
So half way stage, Unpredictables flying high, and remain the only team unbeaten.
They're now 6 points clear, and looking good. . . . Rack Pack starting to put a really good run together though, Patriots, Cue Masters and Hot Shots all outside bets.
Table as follows:
1. Unpredictables . . 56
2. Prop . . . . . . . . . 50
3. Rack Pack . . . . . 48
4. Patriots . . . . . . . 45
4. Cue Masters . . . . 45
6. 193's . . . . . . . . . . 42
7. Hot Shots . . . . . . 40 ( + Game in Hand)
8. Legion . . . . . . . . .39
9. Pawleyne . . . . . . .38 (+Game in Hand)
10. Jolly . . . . . . . . . .37 |

Hot Shots win last night was huge for the Unpreds. 6 points clear and with nine games to go. Can MOD's boys do it? Would love to see it happen...
Winter & Summer Div 1 titles for the past decade has been shared amongst the Ego's, Prop, and Hot Shots........Unpreds stand on the brink of breaking that domination... |

The Unpreds have been in this position before (and fcuked it up!). They werent overly imprerssive against us earlier this year, and id be suprised if they walked away with things.
And remember. Summer doesnt count really!

The shock will be The Prop's dominance coming to an end . . They won it every year for as long as I can remember until the Hot Shots took it from them last year but to lose it with them out of the picture will be a big upset . .
It just goes to show how much this format has changed things . . I know for one that Macca is playing each of his (bigger squad of) players at least once in every match where as the Unpredictables are playing with a much smaller side and more often than not playing their stronger players twice . .
. . that coupled with the loss of both Wayne and Leon from last season and it would seem the tide has finally turned in favour of MOD's merry men (and Graf)

We were absolutely gutted that we didn't run out 8-2 or at least 7-3 winners, due to a couple of bad shots and some mystifying shot selection. 4-1 at half time was a bit flattering but not sure about the blacks rolling off, I was right behind Andy's shot and it didn't go off line - but he still won the frame anyway. At 9.40 it was still only 2-1, finished at about 11. |

being 6 points clear at the halfway stage, this is now in our own hands and yes we were in a similer position before but f*cked it up on last day.this time around there will be no repeat performance.
m o d will lift his 1st division 1 cup. ne:
summer champs 2008
div 1 individual winner 2008
and knockout cup winners 2008
croydon singles league iv prem winner
plus league cup winners 2011,2012.2014

6 points lead can change so quickly, especially in this format. and obviously they still have to play each other (the prop or the rack pack).
as i've always said before there is a big difference to winning titles then winning matches and the prop have got the t-shirt!
