Does anyone know when the half yearly meeting is going to be held? Are we going to be voting on the Winter league format, Scotch doubles or any other changes such as the minute rule?
Always have a plan 'B'
Even plan 'B' has failed

i think you only need a stop watch option if you've only played 5 frames by a certain time! assuming 10 frame matches that is

AGM (not Half Year) is scheduled for early September (as it always is) and no propositions to date have been received for the Winter League to adopt to the Summer League playing format. There has been a proposition for Scotch Doubles and this will be on the agenda.

In our match this week, Rob 'The Cougar Cat' Cogar (meow) was playing at No.1, as usual. Don't know about a stopwatch, we were considering using a calendar for some of his shots! He finally won both his games though, so clearly playing until the opponent falls asleep worked well.

It was left out pending you speaking to Rileys about their previous offer

Was waiting on a response from them but I'd forgotten about it to be honest. I'll chase it up.

It would make sense to table an amendment rather than a separate proposal - assuming it's your proposal can I please have a copy?

Saxton put it forward on our behalf so I'm sure he'll be happy to add it on . .

I presume the Mixed Doubles would allow cross-team pairings?

Yes indeedy.

I think it will be ok played alongside the doubles in the same way that the ladies singles is played alongside the main singles. It might mean the odd re-arranged match but it's reasonably unlikely. Any better ideas??
