The jolly 6-4 pawlene arms

We are slowly improving on a crap start to the season. Good luck to the pawlene for the rest of the season.

Surrey 193's 2 - 8 The Patroits

With some of our players not able to finish - missing straight blacks and basic positional shots - the result was probably a fair one!

Without the schoolboy errors a draw would have been achievable. sigh

Legion 7 - 3 Cuemasters

We, particularly me, were awful.

Unpreds 5 5 Prop

An epic battle at the top of the table which went this way then that and produced a fair share of squeaky bum moments. We were 3 2 up after the first set and all those who won the first lost the second. At 5 3 down we still had faith in getting the draw which we got, thanks to Teepee's inspired team selection and an equally inspired shot from the Thriller Killer (which Swetts can best explain - go on, ask him I'm outta here ). A fair result as both teams can point to frames that should have won them the match.

Ps. Miller should join the Pond. Keep em all in one place I say... 15mins FFS!

Not a very nice footnote Francois, especially as your marathon was still in progress as we left the building. Your suggestion concerning MHM is unlikely to ever happen. Any player who doesn't know what a push shot is, could well make some very dangerous waves in our pond by hitting the ball too hard !! laughing

From memory, the Unpreds V Prop match finished at 11.45pm.

We were back from our match at 10.45 and the score was 5-3 to the Prop with Luke Turnbull & James Charlwood at the table and the final frame began just after 11pm. And no-one seemed to be rushing their shots, although MHM always seems to take full advantage of the 'no timimg rule' currently in place in the League, although it didn't seem to stop him playing what can only be described as the most ridiculous shot EVER.

Unpreds in 'signing Mark Hartley-Miller halfway through a frame he couldn't lose' shocker !!!!!!
