This week will prove vital in the race to the title. I believe that if the Cue Masters can better the goodfellas result then they are strong favourites.
Here's my predictions.
The Better Halfs 3 4 The Thicket
Langley Sports 1 6 The Elmer Cue Masters
The Folly 5 2 Forum B
Ruskin House 0 7 Waddon Wizards
The Goat Specials 2 5 The Goodfellas
The Elmer Lodgers 4 3 The Chopper Squad |

The tension thickens as both teams rally for the final two games of the season. After tonights battle, we're once again neck and neck - the Elmer Cuesmasters winning 5-2, and the Goodfellas winning 4-3.
What an important point to win so close to the end of the season.
Two games left, everything to play for, the Elmer boys are just starting to steal the momentum again let's keep it up!
Should be a great night next week.

Goat 3 - 4 Goodfellas.
Doh. Needed a bigger win but well done to The Goat for sticking in there.

Yes well done to the goat for taking their chances but in all honesty should have won 7 nil. threw 3 frames away - not good. Looking at the remaining fixtures its going to be an uphill struggle for us now. |

The Folly 6 Foru B 1. Fun match, nice bunch of fellas.
Shame we're not playing those pesky Cuemasters again next week! |

My honest unbiased opinion is that you probably have a 5-2 next week and a 7-0 the week after, giving you 16 points. I think we possibly have a 6-1 and a 5-2 leaving us finishing 1 point behind.
It's going to take something pretty special for us to come back now. Realistically if we dont better your result by 2 next week then it is all over. |

Looking good Shark - my faith in the team has been rewarded this week - should be a good two weeks now.
Interesting game next week as the GF's take on our stablemates the Lodgers! |

We smashed em 6-1 last time and the 1 was an outrageous 4 cushion fluke on the black in the first frame. I think a win is almost certain, but it needs to be big. |

I think you've been beaten to it Sniper as far as I know our compatriots are already on the promise of a few drinks should they get a good result
Couldn't have scripted the end of the season any better really with both top teams level pegging with two games to play - may the best team win! :box:

Of course we'll be disappointed if we miss out on winning the division but whatever happens its been an excellent season for us. It was a real low getting relegated so we've done very well to bounce straight back. We'll give it our all until the end but if its not to be then its hats off to Ted and The Elmer boys. |

The langley table was the worst table I've played on all season... no wonder they have such a bad home record.

How many away matches have you played caveman? There are much worse tables in our Division than at The Langley. The Thicket Tavern, Chopper Squad and Better Halfs are just a few that spring to mind. |

I don't know when you played there but it's got worse as the season has gone on. |

The problem at the Langley is that they move the pool table every time they have a simultaneous darts match. Surely it would be a lot simpler to re-site the dart-board and leave the pool table in a permanent position !! Just a thought !! |
