Tonight sees the last of the League Cup 2nd Stage games and sorts out the men from the boys to form the quarter final lineup . .
Any thoughts? |

Our Group is tighter than a gnat's chuff with every game ending 4-3 so far. We could win 5-2 tonight and go out or we could scrape 4-3 and go through, depending on the result of the other game.
No doubt Big Jake will give us his opinion in about 1000 words. |

With the Prop turning over the Hotshots and Group one going against the seedings at the moment, will the Eden try to beat us knowing they will have the Hotshots rather than the Prop in the semi if they do????
We are short of three players from our recognised starting line up, but captain Nuttman has made some some signings from his little black book to get a team out.
God I hope there is not an Eden roar to deal with tonight. It'll be unbearable!

Group A: Hot Shots should do enough at the Pawleyne and you have to think Surrey 193's have to beat the Prop at Rileys to have any chance of making the last 8
Group B: Legion should dispatch Warriors to make the last 8 with winner of Hounds/Imperials match to progress. Hounds have to be favourites to make it through.
Group C: We should have finished the job last week and tonight would be a dead rubber. We have our destiny in our own hands and have an uncanny knack of delivering a result when it matters. Eagles short of players makes no odds as we are likely to be missing a few ourselves.
Addicts have to win big at the Rack Pack and I'm sure Harry's boys will want to avoid the wooden spoon.
Group D: Bottom line is we will lose either the Cuemasters or Patriots tonight. Cuemasters at home gives them the advantage. I think the Elmer Cuemasters will have enough firepower to dispatch the Magnum and book themselves a 1/4 final place.

We have to win tonight to get through so hopefully you will hear an eden roar, we are not thinking as far as semi-finals just yet....
Hopefully the Rack-pack will not provide a walk-over 7-0 win to the Addicts but the last game in these comps can always be a bit dodgy
You playing tonight Shaggy ?

We would rather play the Hot Shots all day long, but I don't think we are looking past tonight as qualification must be our first goal but of course we are mindful we can still win the group at the same time. We would then have to still get through a QF so lots of pool left to play before we can dream of a semi-final. |

I am there, Truey, and with my record against your team that can only be a good thing.... Essa is working, Sean is in Mexico, Jake is in Thailand.
The remaining 5 normal players are around, we have signed two players up for the next two evenings, and the break and dish Nuttman character is around.
I am pretty sure the RRP will try to win frames, they aren't that sort of team.... It will just make them look silly losing 7 nil, when in reality it is likely to be fruitless anyway.

were give it a go tonight but in fairness if you lose 2 games your really scraping the barrell to qualify, heard the emmer boys may be short tonight against the magnum, would be great if both elmer and bromley qualify could happen but then we could both go out, |

After our result against the SAS last week, I'm reluctant to make too many predictions, but we are starting to get our best team back now!!
We are hopeful of progressing tonight!! |

bromley cue masters 3-4 the patriots
a season low turnout of 4 players tonight for the cuemasters which was disapointing even more so after hearing the elmer cuemasters beat the magnum force 6-1, it meant if we had even won 4-3 tonight we would have qualified. |

The mighty EDEN did indeed roar tonight, dispatching the current Croydon No.1's 4-3 (again - thats twice in a month).
And i can confirm that the EGO's had an even stronger team than usual with their 2 new players being even better than the 2/3 who couldnt make it.
But they still didnt win lol - we must be their bogey team now, oh and the hot shots bogey team, in fact i dont think anyone wants to play us haha
See you in the final.
