No worries about Dave at the Farley posting....we agreed I would!!!

Farley Loyalists 4-3 The Seamen

A match that the Farley were very pleased to win....

Lady Luck shone for the Farley in the first two frames....Paul Picton went in off with the black over the bag, two shots on the last red....cue ball spun round the table, finishing tight on the black...tap shot ended up going in off....frame Picton....sh!t lucky Spence played a percentage safety but quadrupled his last ball to finish on the black.... 2-0 Loyalists

The Seamen came back to take the next two (mr Burrows being one of the victims...), but lost the fifth...3-2 Loyalists

Steve Rowlerson (scruffy match quote from the previous game...) then showed what the league is all about....although I was slight favourite in the frame, he called a foul on his own shot, that no-one else had seen - respect Steve, we've known each other a long time, and this was almost a grudge game - and I cleared....3-3

Farley picked again as we were short...and won...fair play...

top of the table is yours to lose guys!!!

I hope not!

I've got to say, I really enjoyed tonight's match. It was played in a great spirit and was sporting throughout. I got nervous when we went 3 all but we edged it in the end.

I got a bit more than I desreved but I'm not going to complain. My luck against The Seamen needs to be seen to be believed!

Good luck for for the rest of the season,

Sh!t lucky Spence.

Imperials 5-2 Jolly Sailor
They only had 5 players so it was always going to be hard for them.
We missed a black over the pocket so that helped hitting with a chair
Its better to burn out than fade away
