Is each match still the best of 9? (I do like this)
But it's gonna make it a very long day if every person turns up and I can see most matches lasting an hour (ish). I know there's 12 tables but you're looking at late afternoon before the first round is even done.
I know, before you say it..... I'll be packed and ready to go home by half two!! |

I suspect not even half the field will turn up for various reasons, so there could be some strange waiting times while people are waiting for their opponents, but there wasn't a lot of time to work with so I can understand why it's been done this way.
I just hope that as many people turn up to this as possible, if you're availiable, try and get yourself there.
There has been lots of noise in recent years about having inter-divisional singles, well here it is!
Don't expect it to run smooth and slick like one of the big open comps, as it won't. This is new to everyone involved.
By getting behind your own divisions respective comp and supporting it, it will be our feedback that takes the comp forward and improves it for next year.
Be patient, and from small acorns will mighty oaks grow.
