The Misscues took part in this for the first time yesterday and achieved the following results in the group stage:-
Misscues 1 - 10 BPL Sidewalks
ADSPL Sovereign A 10 - 8 Misscues
Misscues 1 - 10 Frames Reigate
Croydon B 10 - 4 Misscues
We needed one of the last two frames to force a draw against ADSPL Sovereign A which would have been a fantastic achievement for us but unfortunately it wasn't to be. We play them next in the league and if we can get close to our strongest side out I believe we can get our first win.
In matches where it's a race to 10 it was difficult to give everyone the same number of frames but I did try to do that. I mixed it up a bit at the start and then rewarded wins by promoting those players to the top of the order to give them the opportunity of getting a second frame.
