I might be wrong but I make it that the 2nd Stage groups are as follows:

Pawleyne Arms
The Propeller
Surrey 193's

British Legion

I couldnt quite work it out with the new 1/4 stage. Knew we would be seeded to avoid Hotshots til the final (if relevant!) but couldnt see how to aovid the posibility of playing someone from your initial group along the way, and the obvious answer to that is you cant.
Not being presumptuous but what frame distance is the 1/4s over??? Last question...promise.

3 hours 25 minutes for 7 frames, I make that 8 hours 10 minutes for 15 frames.

when you look at how the draw in 2nd stage pans out it seems to work that you could face the team you qualified with from the 1st group stage if you get through to the quarters? you take world cup draw for instance it pretty much works that the top 2 who qualify would not meet again until the final where this just seems to double back on itself.

But the difference is that the league is seeded in its entirity from last year, so I would assume that the need to get down to the following:
Semis
1v4
2v3
Final
1v2
takes presidence over avoiding group opponents.
In the word Cup the top 8 are seeded but not in any specific order, and thats the difference.
