Magnum Force 4 - 3 Pond Q's

The match was a poor standard, at 3-1 down we mugged them of the last 3 games and walked away with the bonus points.

I reckon if the Pond had an extra 3 tables to practice on before the match they might have edged it eh Pat Wink

Warbank 3-4 Legion

We only had 5 players last night, so a good win, although we could easily have lost 6-1.

It was all made that much sweeter by the legend that is John Frith turning up for us & winning his frame & then also winning the decider when he was picked again at 3-3.
I would rather be playing golf

Danny,I don't know how you've got the audacity to try and talk to me. I couldn't believe it when I walked in to Suzies. The bloody Beagles had FOUR tables. We had one table at our HOME VENUE. I will speak to Hannah at the first available opportunity to try to ensure that there is never a repetition. The free table facility should only be available to Home Teams on a Tuesday. Itinerants should be actively discouraged on match nights !!
