Was a match where luck played a part with frames that could easily have gone either way.
Small Pots were down 3-2 at the end of the first set and then only winning one out of the next three, we knew we had to dig in deep.
Neil D started the turn, then John D pulled out a lovely break dish leaving the scores at 5-5. As the only player to win 2 frames John played the 11th against Roy and it was a fight down to the black. Roy was unlucky and left a fairly easy black for the Small Pots to finish at 6-5.
Always a pleasure playing Marks team and we wish them well for the rest of the season and look forward to the return match at theirs
