Langley Sports 6-5 Beechtree Boshers
Well a defeat but a lot to take from the match considering it was our first division 2 game ever 
Things couldn't have gone much better in the first set, 3 big dishes, 2 of them first visits put us 4-1 up half time and had us dreaming of inflicting a first league defeat in 20 over Langley Sports 
But alas food came out, we started missing the clearances and mistakes and lost 5 of the last 6 including the game 11 decider. Ah well.
Top bunch of lads at Langley, good luck for the remainder of the season and we'll catch you in BR1

M o t s 6 v 5 Farley legends
Good start from us taking the first set 3 2 lost the second set 3 2 and went to a decider and they took it, we looked a bit rusty but it's still early days yet, but take nothing away from them they played well and to be honest we never get anything up there but well played guys much deserved untill next time good luck for the rest of the season?

division 3 and 2 summer league runner up,
division 3 champs
division 4 summer champs
division 5 winners
division 5,4,3 divisional singles winner
division 5,4 secretary winner |

Unfortunately Dukes only had 4 players. A few frames could of gone either way its fair to say but Lady Luck was on our side.
Always a pleasure playing the Dukes and good to see sportsmanship still alive.

I know mate not a good start from the champs but it's early days and to be honest we lost our opening 4 games last winter and you all know what happened then as we like starting the hard way but don't worry we will be back to defend our title, and want to let everyone know once we are top we have never been overtaken

good win against the legends last night...we was always playing catch up but managed to take the last 2 frames to snatch the win! was a good match to with both teams attacking the balls and very little safety made for a good game! good team the legends they maybe loud but are also generous in defeat so good luck lads for the season.
we may need a bigger boat..! |

many thanks for your kind words and you guys did play well and in the end deserved the win and you caught us a bit early in the season as it takes us a few games to get going, so cant wait for the return leg good luck for the rest of the season guys really do mean that top bunch you got down there, ohhh by the way who are you mr shark, i have a slight idea but not sure,

loyalists 6-5 one player short. not a good start going 3-1 down but pulled it back to 5-5 then baza brought home the decider. 2/2 from myself and barry
