The Langley have a very strong line-up...9 different players, unlike ourselves who just about made a bare 5...we scrapped to 3-2 down at halfway, but in all fairness our wins had come courtesy of chances that weren't taken...a gift in number 6 squared the match up, before a 2-visit frame 7...they broke, potted 7, didn't get on the potting angle of the black, but still got it close to a pocket for next time...but there wasn't one, cos we cleared up...4-3 up..threw 8 away, and got beat in 9...5-4 down...a tactical battle in 10 resulted in us getting two shots and clearing, before a quickfire 11th that had 3 visits, including a foul break, to wrap it up...
The Langley are in our division, and I have no doubt they will be gunning for revenge next time....
1nil down 4 v 7 prop ....typical prop performance throwing away frames again,not the end ov the world but not good enuf...watching players with talent chop around makes me wana cut me eyes out...we gave away the summer league n looks like sos is gona continue this winter
u did deserve to win n we did not,if u ad seen how bad sum ov the frames we lost wer ud get where im coming from...many many many times our guys simply could not lose a frame n then just threw them away,do not take it asa insult to ur team its more ova dig at the prop avin gr8 players who dont no how to cross the line...twasa good fight this summer league but truth is we threw away way to many frames so it feels like we threw the league away....understand phillipa
