Defeat for us but not all is lost hopefully. Evening didn't start well when we could only muster 4 players due to a number of factors but we had a go anyways and we nearly pulled off the win.
Couple of missed pots cost us in the end but we gave a good account of ourselves. With us meant to have been playing The Untouchables home next week we would have fancied our chances of gaining more than our average of 7. We'll be the only team in the division to get an average score as everyone else has played the Untouchables twice but that's the way its panned out unfortunately.
Top bunch of lads the MOTs, and naturally we wish them well next week, where a number of us will be attendance down the Farley! Fortune Favours the Brave...
Birds Bollox 1 - Goodfellas 10
A great win for us and a fond farewell to Birds Bollox, who have a bye next week and are folding after that. Great bunch of lads and hopefully those who want to carry on can find new teams.
Also heard from Neil that Legends won 7-4 against View, so that puts us 7 points clear at the top going into next week. The fat lady hasn't started singing yet but she may have at least started tuning up.

Great start last night leading 4 1 at the break after losing the first frame,
Then a great fight back from the view from Brian and co taking the next 3 to pull it back 4 4 and couldnt believe what i was witnessing last night but up step Peter to restore the lead with his 2/2 that made it 5 4 and then step up myself with a personal 4/4 to take the last 2 frames 7 4 and i still feel they are weaker without my mate Ben, wish the view guys well really top bunch down there and food was great
As for the title well done to the goodfellas for the title 7 points clear with 1 to go only needing 4 frames we blew it last 2 games and my guys losing easy frames for us, so second place up for grabs now we only need 5 frames so runners up looking good as beech tree were lucky to get 7 for next week looool so 3rd spot for guys this year Craig and co well done to you that's guaranteed as no one can catch you don't need worry to much that's a improvement on last winter was 4 th so congrats
As for us we have which is a disappoint as we should of been much closer but goodfellas well deserved should have at least 6 more as we blew loads of chances in the last 2 but 5 frames next week is all we need so bring it on ohhhh and by the way I have gone 1 clear of Bernie in the divisional singles can I be stopped looool another division 3 winners
