A massive result on so many levels...firstly the league...that scoreline keeps us top...secondly...the ship's first loss since beating us 7-4 in the reverse fixture....thirdly...we both used to play in the same pub, and there were many "derby" games...and in all fairness they have won quite a few since we last beat them...
But back to tonight...an enjoyable and friendly night as always...the banter is always good given our history...the match had twists and turns...with some quality pool on display from both sides...but finishing made the difference...in many cases one jawed ball resulted in a clearance for the other player...
Despite this, there is still a long way to go in this division...there are important results to happen..nothing is decided yet...
