Big result that one.
Another big result, but for different reasons....
The mighty seamen come good....eventually...but it was worth the wait....(fnar, fnar)....
Penge Cons 3-4 The Seamen ne:
We only had 4 players tonight, for a variety of reasons, including illness, tax returns and Charlton....
The rest of the team were hard (fnar, fnar), but at least our esteemed chairman can say he came first...(fnar, fnar)
Not a result I would have gambled on, but hey-ho....
p.s. for those that don't understand (fnar, fnar), ask if any of their friends ever read VIZ, esp. Finbarr Saunders....
pps telford - old father time won twice!!!! |

The Ship 5 v 2 The Goodies.
A top night and result for us, I also nearly got a whack for my troubles, some p*ssed dimwit slagging off our table, how its the worst table hes played on and it shouldnt be allowed in the league ( funny they all say that when they lose ) even his own team was embarrassed for him.

Lloydy tells me The Imps bt Forum 'A' 4-3.
Still waiting for a couple of results but here's how the table looks so far...
Farley Loyalists: 67
Imperials: 64
Forum 'A': 62
Warriors: 54
Seamen: 45
Goodies: 43
Surrey 193s: (41)
Jolly Sailor: 36
Ship: 35
Penge Conservative Club: 30
Duke of Gloucester: (29)
Royal Oak: 25
This does not include the results for the Surrey 193s and Duke of Gloucester.
A good result could see the foot of the table shaken up and the top should make for an interesting second half of the season. Nice to see my new team take the lead in the table but I know all to well that the Imps will be chasing us all the way and Forum 'A' are obviously a class act. Whoever wins this division is going to have to play top quality pool consistently until the last ball is potted.

Sorry Satto, looks like I made a mistake. I made one before, it was on a Thursday I think.
Good to see you living up to the name!
I've amended it now. |

Imperials 4-3 Forum A
We got off to a good start when they went in off the black first game.
Not a lot in it all the way. Good match.

I think it worth a note that Paul Picton lost his first game for a season and a half on Tuesday. Great run Paul.

Do people still get a semi from getting a win from someone going in off the black?
If I'd have known, I'd have cheered when GentleBreeze did the same against me in the singles . . . |

In all fairness the Imperial players were the first to say bad luck to me. It was just bad luck really after potting a great black and the white travelled off of three cushions and went into the same pocket.
I blame the fast tables at Rileys. : |

To be fair Lloyd + the rest of us all felt it was a great black and a crap white. The Fourm are a top side and will be hard to beat at home,
