Thinking about it some leagues that i no are money leagues i happen to play slk on a thurs and its the best by far...... Thats money its well run and generates interest and there is never arguements!!!!! I think croydon is a great league with loads of great teams i am sure we all have loads of plastic tropheys in our cabinets zzzzzzzzzzzz i was at a meeting last year n heard mark say the tropheys came to 4k which is a lot of money now if u split that into the 4-5 divisons that we are blessed with making div 1 have bigger prizes has an insentive to make teams wanna get there i think this wud be really good and also if people no the almighty croydon is now a money league that then generates alot more intrest in people wanting to join our league remember the entry to enter this league is alot so why not have a right to have a choice jus a idea what do people think to this sick of tropheys got toooooo many n lets face it who gets sick of a pound note Back to back singles winner, croydon's number 1, Farley open champ that's all
The trophies aren't worth that much though, I'd piss the cash away by the end of the night. To be honest I think I'd rather have a trophy even though they are just dust collectors. I must be getting old.
it can b a bit much if ur lucky enuf to win a few trophies n the shed looks after sum ov the lesser 1s but would much rather ava trophie than cash as cash cums n goes but that trophie wen ur proper old wil b there to remind u ov ur achievements n show the grandkids...wat dan says about higher divisions avin more cash to b an incentive is right tho n thats where croydon is full ov *******,how on earth r div5 trophies the same as div1,all this BS about we all pay the same entrance fee so our trophies should all b the same sounds very left wing to me...in this country the guys who work the hardest to improve n rise to the top normally get rewarded for it,most ov the guys at the top ov our league r there bcos they av practiced more n spent more time n money improving there game but they get the same trophies, madness pure madness
