Due to the unavailability of Rileys on 12/10 all finals will now be played at Rileys Purley way on WEDNESDAY 05 OCTOBER |

poor show by rileys yet again...iv made myself availiable to play the final at any week night n waiting 4confirmation ona d8...b aware people eddie cant make this wednesday so it wil not happen on 5th oct...im really not bothered wen we play this but think rileys r takin liberties just 4a change..they our sponsours r rearranging the final at the last minute coz there gona b running a different comp on our finals nite n we cant ava table...shockin  |

Yep, well played to Shaggy and Sean with a fully deserved victory. They didn?t really put a foot wrong and we didn?t really turn up, so no complaints. Oh well, maybe it?ll be 3rd time lucky!

luke mate benny boy wont get into any finals as apparently he dont enter any of them so you will have to keep waiting mate, you guys did well to get to the final well done its just a shame you came up against very strong opposition, good luck in the winter hopefully you can get there again,

Tony Jackson 3 Eddie Taylor 0 .....eddie dry breaks 1st frame n i 1st visit dish,felt i showed my intent there n also didnt think i woz gona lose after that...2nd frame ada couple ov safety shots in it until i realised i ad2 ava go at dishing n took out a nice finish with a couple ov hi risk shots with side...3rd frame misd an easy plant which would ov left me a dolly clearance then a few shots L8r made a much harder plant cleared up n misd a fairly easy ish black flapin like a fish at it,eddie woz left a drop in clearance but lost position on his last ball n misd an attempted double,leavin me a tricky black just off the rail near centre wat i slapd in the corner to win...there wer a few nervey shots n a few classy shots out there,not a classic final but they rarely r....im chufd 2win me 8th singles title(n half for last years plate win)its been a long time, it means a lot 2me as i luv our league n ava lot ov respect 4the vast majority ov its players...many thanx 2 Mr Saxton 4adjudicating.. |
