Cyber, If you have an issue with the stats I would recommend emailing Mark with your query (croydonpoollge@aol.com) as the site team just post up what they have been sent and do not have any control over the results.

Could someone please confirm to me how the scoring of a BYE works in Div Singles? I'm guessing it goes on average results before the BYE but I'd appreciate it if someone could confirm. Many thanks.

Thanks for that Neil mate. I was only asking about byes because I got a blank for our bye in week 2 whereas some other people got a 1 for their bye in the first half of the season.

You're probably right about you being the favourite for divisional singles but there's some way to go yet.

Hope you enjoyed last night's banter from the Eden boys as much as I did. Oh boy, I was just creasing up with laughter! In two years in Croydon pool league, last night was the funniest evening I've had by far. Hilarious...

That's not true. It's based on averages, so it's not the same for everyone.

If you have over 50% wins at the point your team gets a bye then it shows you as a win, if you are under 50% it's a loss and if you are absent for more than you played, it's a dash.

The only bit that's the same for all is the team wins 10-0. This is unless the bye comes in part-way through a season, in which case the team would get their average score, even if it were a loss.

Thanks for that Mark buddy. That explains it. See you tonight for the CSL match.

I probably won't be there Saturday Neil. Hope you have a good one though and best of luck for the rest of the season!
