am posting onbehalf of mickey samuels who may have left his cue in the farley on sunday after his defeat in the semi of the open,if anyone has accidientally picked up this cue by mistake could they please return it to the farley so that mick can be reunited with it.the cue itself is marked with mickeys name on it and he has had it for about 50 years and its probibly worth about 50p so lets try and unite them both together again.summer champs 2008

I popped in to the Farley for a lunchtime drink on Monday and I think that I may have found Mickey's cue. I could see that it was very old and probably quite valuable. When I saw the name Samuels engraved on the cue I thought that it must have originated at the jewellery chain of that name. I took it in to my nearest branch and they seemed to be very relieved to have it handed in. As I left I could swear that I saw smoke coming from their chimney. I hope that I was mistaken !!
