Strange game on a dreadful table. It goes downhill from the baulk end to the top, the top cushion is completely dead. Teach played a simple one cushion escape in his game and the white came off as if he'd put a ton of side on the ball.
We were 3-0 and 4-2 down but somehow pulled it round to run out winners. With Eldridge in the US of A, Gary Martyn took over the number one spot and you could see how bad the table was from the dross that he and Mev served up, two quality players in normal circumstances. Graf somehow broke and dished his first game. We fought back well though, despite the table. Gary pulled out a great shot on the black from a snooker to gain a bit of revenge over Graf for the Singles final for 4-3 and then Darren, Katie (2/2 on the night) and Stu took out decent finishes to take the match.
At least we didn't have to travel miles to play on a crap table. D'oh!
