A scoreline that in no way reflected the match....ok, so the last frame was a break and dish, and the first was a dish from a dry break, but there were three frames that we lost on rattled blacks (from awkward positions) when they were black ball games....
In the middle of all that, Chris Bateman deserves a special mention for getting both our points - in the second one he only potted his first ball AFTER his opponent had 3 shots at the black.....
Sometimes you just have to marvel at what your seeing when playing a team like these. All great blokes, having a laugh on a Tuesday night, which is the way it should be. Nice easy journey though for us for a change
4-1 first set, 5-0 spanking second set. We could have taken a few more games as we did have a couple of chances but miss shots against these guys and they dish.
Good luck for the rest of the season, we had a great laugh with Nuttmeg and the rest of the lads, even though the result went against us
Its going to be a close title run in with three teams still pushing.
