Beechtree 6 - 4 The D.O.G

A good win for us Grin, against a great bunch of lads. A decent atmosphere in the pub, which I think had more to do with us all getting bladdered and playing a team who know how to have a laugh on Tuesday nights than anything else laughing

3-2 down at the turn, went 4-2 down and a rousing 4-game winning streak got us the win. Three games left of the season for all. It will be a mid-table finish again for us moving on ...

Cheers to Smithy, Kev and the rest of the lads n lasses from the DOG, great laugh yesterday, good luck for the rest of the season handshake

Seamen 8-2 Waddon Misfits

Having beaten them 7-3 at their place, we were hopeful of getting a better result at home....especially when they arrived with only 4 players....to suddenly find ourselves 2-0 down to a couple of very good finishes was not in the script.....Frown

Frame 4 was possibly a turning point....a black that no-one seemed to want to pot, which our player sank at the third time of asking...sleep

A good run in the second half, with great performances from our (statistically speaking) weaker players made the result look a lot easier than it was....

An enjoyable evening, all done and dusted very quickly....good luck for the run in guys!!!

The Oak 2 see u next tuesdays 8, I can honestly say Mr Donlon is the best player I have ever played with, he dishes week after week, and with Mr Panther playing as well as he did 20 yrs ago, Mr Taylor getting right back into the swing and the rest of us making small contributions, could be an interesting run in.

Are you sure??? Hughie has forgotten more than he knows! Wink

Not suprising really, the dude was Pro ranked #1, admittedly it was a few years ago, but Class is permanent and all that jazz.
