Flying Machine 5 - 5 Eden

Good night at the flying machine tonight, fair result in the end, both teams could have nicked 1 more; but didn't so 5 a piece is about right. Quite funny seeing Farron lose his money on the fruit machine after answering the question what is Rudyard Kipling famous for, with cakes.

Was a good night last night, happy with the draw against a very capable side who gave us a whooping at their place.
we have now worked out that our table actually isn't that bad, its the balls that make it seem so rubbish. new set is on its way.

I didn't think Barry was gonna leave after he found our new armchair so comfortable..

good luck to eden boys, all the best for the season

Goodfellas 5 - 193s 5

Very enjoyable match, as always, and a special mention has to go to Shane St.Romaine for being the subject of the new phrase "doing a Shane" (meaning to totally underhit a ball, not touch a cushion thereby throwing the frame away), which JP then went on to try out for himself a couple of frames later when he also "completely Shaned it up".

A question you are used to asking... usually after rattling a dolly black ball (or any red/yellow for that matter).
