Forum B 5-5 Seamen

A long, hard fought match....Lady luck was definitely playing home advantage....3-2 down at halfway, and feeling very hard done by....Sadconfused

I'm not knocking the Forum B, they all played to win, but had some major slices of luck along the way....

And so it continued....after 7, we were 5-2 down, and really had to scrap for the draw. I heard an admission from one of their winning players that he had been outplayed...that says it all...

At least we didn't lose, and lets hope that the luck evens out next time!!!rolling eyes

Thicket Tavern 5 - 5 Beechtree

Not a good result for us this moving on ...Am sure we had more people travel with us from Bromley than the Thicket had locals there laughing

All started so well an' all. 3-0 up, then 4-1 up at the turn got us off to what we thought could be a confidence boosting win. Then the wheels came off. 4-2, 4-3 then a quality win for Revvo to take us to the hill at 5-3 up but unfortunately it wasnt to be and the Thicket took the final two to claim the draw. An opportunity missed no

Good bunch the Thicket, good luck for the remainder and we'll see ya at ours later in the season handshake
