Bloodhounds 6-1 193s
It was a comfortable win in the end, although it was always going to be an uphill battle for them with only 4 players. Let's see if we draw the Prop AGAIN in the next round!!! |

Patriots 6-4 Eden knights
really unlucky tonight could of gone either way well played to cooky the bully and the rest of the foreigners german the world champ and the Indian chap think his names Jacko
Got off to a good start 2-0 up then break and dishes by cooky n Jacko then went 3-2 up then another break and dish from Jacko then some close thought games but we were edged out feel if we had full strength squad it would have been different possible although with 3 frames where we didn't get a shot I feel we played well enough to sneak it
Good luck to patriots in the next round.
I think I got a bite ... And it's a big one |

Forum 'A' 6- 4 Pond Q's
Very nice evening indeed, we took a 4 nil lead only for the pond to dig deep and level the tie. A few nervy frames and bit of 'donald duck' for both sides really, dictated the tie. The last two frames where key, but nothing in it, toss of a coin really : ) Really well played to the pond, never let their heads drop and deserved to level at 4 a piece. The table was playing superbly lol and the moths and cat had a say in procedings also haha. Well played to the pond, nice chaps, best of luck for rest of season ; ) Oh we have you again at ours in two weeks. Promises to be a gd game ; )
It's nice to be nice ; ) |

See You Next Tuesday - 5 - The Untouchables - 6 -
The Mehmet returns !!! And in style.
And what a game to return to.. SYNT were stunning tonight and enjoyed a deserved 4-1 lead (well done to waters for winning our only match in the set). Nothing changed in the 2nd set when they went a further 5-1 in front. Then Untouchables began playing.. Slightly.... Stacy with a nail-bitting frame, Me next, Which my opponent breaks dry and i dish. Then Grant... and oh my god.. A game which grant pretty much had in the bag but got dragged on and on and on. He worked so hard to NOT finish the game i think his due to claim unemployment. However the hardwork paid off.. not only did he win but he looked in great shape by losing a few stones in the process. Then up steps Captain America, I mean Captain Poland... i mean Nelio... wins his game to make it 5-5(would tell u more about his frame but i was trying hard not to fall asleep). Deciding frame and one that we should have got ahold of more, But wasnt to be as SYNT player made a great little 3 ball clearance only to miss a straight black. And credit to Joel (Whom lost his 2 of 2 might i add) with 4 balls left on table and black over the hole he had to clear and done so very well to SEE YOU PEOPLE IN THE NEXT ROUND. (did you see what i did there?)
But despite an incredable come-back and SYNT's awesome play.... and the table on there side, It was a true cracker.
Great charactor from the lads and a good team spirit and fight.

If Carlsberg made pool players they would play like me.

flying machine 4 - 6 lock stock
4-1 we thought it was going to be an early night. But managed to pull it back to 5-4 down, only to loose the final game.
couple of the frames could of been different result, missed blacks, and a piss easy finish thrown away (by me) in the first half score could of been 2-3 even 3-2 to us. but not to be, as we're awful lol
always a pleasure to play lock stock, good luck in the next round. |

Not a classic, we were doing just enough to get though and the wheels fell off somewhat but happy to be in the hat for the next round.
Can't wait for more of the same with the failing machine next week. |
