Seamen 5-5 Thicket tavern

A hard fought game, and we were more than a little unlucky to be 3-2 down at halfway...that then went to 5-2, and we feared the worst...a battling rearguard brought home the draw..

Special mention to Mark Anderton of the Thicket for calling his own foul that others hadn't seen....although this is supposed to be the Gentlemans Summer league, actions like that do not happen as often as they should....cheers!!handshake

Look forward to the return guys!!!

The untouchables 8-2 d.o.g
first time we have played the d.o.g so didn't no much about them , we soon raced into a 5-0 lead then had the misfortune of grifting them 2 easy frames not naming you ( Stacey and grant ) lol ... We soon took advantage of there mistakes and won the last 3 ... Good bunch a little quiet keeping themselves to themselves ... Good luck tho guys for The remainder and we will see u at yours 2nd half of the season
am not sticking my acheivements down the list is too long lmao surrender

The Oak 6 - 4 Beechtree

Improved display from us this week after the dross of last week, and unfortunate to be on the losing end to be honest, draw would probably been fair but wasnt to be in the end Frown

Lost both sets 3-2 but look forward to the return game at ours winking

Whats the etiquette when playing a 'DF'? I personally dont mind 'Df's' but does the cue ball have to be struck by the tip of the cue, or can it be hit with any other part of the cue?gettinghanged
