Cheers, some strange games last night. Our 2 that lost should have won and only lost to some really bad luck! Yourself and one other dukes player should have won and only lost to bad luck!!
Strange old game... |

WTF!!!!!!!!
Slates clearly used all thier magic powers on us on Monday, and were weak and withered come tuesday.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. |

MAPLE TREE 2 THE ADDICTS 5
A good team performance on a tricky table. Good luck to the maple tree for the rest of the season.

We mentioned their good result the night before and most of them didn't know who the egos were and your league position which is probably the best frame of mind to play you guys. |

I couldn't believe it. We went to the Manor club expecting a general meeting to be held to discuss two current proposals. The first one was to do with expanding the plate competitions to include 1st division teams and players(because they're not doing very well in the cups). The second one was a proposal to dispense with "world" rules(because nobody likes them). Obviously I'd got the date wrong. Whilst we were waiting somebody asked us if we fancied a game. As we had played on the previous night, we mistakenly thought that it was Wednesday evening. I was amazed when, after the match, they asked us to sign an official looking green card . When I queried this, they told me not to worry as they would speak to Mark Halsey to clarify the situation. I am still waiting for Marks call. We lost 6-1 but I feel certain that the result will not be allowed to stand. After all,it was a genuine error !! |
