Good luck to the Pond A's tonight in their quest for the KO Cup title . .

. . after all, they couldn't possibly have lost to Langley Sports in the last round . . I'd be hallucinating to think something like that!

Looks like a good night for the underdogs. . .

We should have won, but thats the beauty of sport.

Slates with home advantage took thier chances, and with a bit of run on thier side were worthy winners.

A hearty congratulations. Well done guys, and good luck in the quarters.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news for the remaining teams...

Langley Sports 0 - 4 Hot Shots.

We were comprehensively beaten, although I think it's fair to say that our table should have been burnt before the last roundsmug

The Red deer were a bit unlucky Sean Danny & Hughie didn't have the run, only one player on both sides played like he had never held a cue in his life, me.I'm glad I can't make it tonight and I never want to pick a fcuking cue up again. Well done to the London slates good luck in the next round, sorry I was so pissed off for letting my team down that I couldn't celebrate your victory with you.swearswear

Danny, thank you for your kind comments prior to our ko match last night. Of course we battered the Farley Loyalists, because we played on a proper pool table. It was with great sadness that I received the news of your sad demise against London Slates. Are you now eligible for the next round of the ko plate ? My heartfelt commiserations also go to Langley Sports who were humbled by the Hot Shots. They obviously forgot to move the table !! What a sad night all round !!

I've just voted for the Eden against the Coney. It's at times like this that they need to know that somebody loves them, otherwise they might try to harm themselves !!

Thank you for your heartfelt sentiments.
We did move the table, but it obviously wasn't enough to make a difference against a superior side.

Shame we can't get into the plate.....

Hot Shots are strong favourites, with the Propeller close behind.
Question is, where, if anywhere, can an upset come from?

The Patriots came within 1 frame of the Summer title, and outside the top 2, represent the best value for an upset.

I personally hope the Slates get through so they guarentee themselves some silverware for last nights massive effort.
