Enmore Social 3 - 7 Better Halfs
Some of us, especially me, didn't play well at all and I was lucky to win my first game that I didn't deserve, then lost the second with the game gaping and 2 shots etc etc. At least we won, but we weren't really at the races. |

Ok so the league standings are as follows, this includes the Betters Halfs bye next week and also the Posties in the final week.
Cuemasters 36 points - 4 games played (results pending Enmore & Better Halfs)
Better Halfs 36 points - 5 games played (results pending Cuemasters
Enmore Social - 27 points - 5 games played (results pending - Cuemasters & Legion)
Foreign Legion 26 - 4 games played (results pending - Posties & Enmore)
Jalfrezi's Menu - 20 points 5 games played (results pending -posties)
Posties - 19 points - 5 games played (results pending - Jalfrezi Menu & Legion
Will all results against the Drum and Monkey be void or an average?
In a nutshell there are 3 teams in the hunt.
The Cuemasters need 10 points to guarantee progression from their two games with 11 points meaning they top the group.
The Legion realistically need 15 points or better from their remaining games vs the Posties & Enmore and hope that the Cuemasters can draw or better against the Better Halfs.
The Better Halfs will be watching the Cuemasters game vs Enmore closely next week. With a likely result being 7-3 + to the Cuemasters that would leave the Betters needing to better that scoreline in their favour against the Cuemasters in the final week.
Enmore social to me look like their result against the team that dropped out is still included thus meaning we must either get average results or they lose their result V them. Either way it leaves them out of the running.
My prediction is Legion to secure 14 or 15 points and the Cuemasters to beat the Better Halfs in the final round leaving the Legion and the Cuemasters to progress.

good write up again berty but bear in mind we will be playing our last fixture with a weakend team as a few players are at the football that night and at least 2 others are doubts!
we may need a bigger boat..! |

I wasn't there on Tuesday but have been informed we beat the posties 9-1.
If the Cue masters have a few players at football & 2 others are doubts on their last game, from what i remember when we played them that will only leave them about 21,246 players left to chose from, ha ha
I would rather be playing golf |
