Flying Machine 8 - 2 Rileys Snooker
great effort from us last night. could of been 9 with an easy last ball missed by one player. great fun playing the slates, always is.
was loving the new food at ours tonight. about 10 different types of chicken, spring rolls, breaded garlic mushrooms, wedges, chips and to top it off, 4 different plates of desserts, including mini doughnuts & profiteroles. anyone else do dessert in the league? 
not that i was more interested in the food than the pool... |

I think a few of our players (me included) were a little distracted by the footie last night, but fair play to the rack pack boys who took their chances well. |

Coach & Horses 3 Pond Wheatsheaf 7 A very long evening followed by a very long journey home. Thank God that we won. That provided some comfort. Good luck to the Coach for the remainder of the season !!  |

I would have been more interested in the food Dogger, as I'm sure my team mates would have aswell.
That's Gourmet ! And dessert aswell .... WOW
Guess your venue will be going top of the food rankings.
Foreign Legion 5 - 5 The Better Halfs.
Another great night of pool with the guys and our second visit to them in less than a month.
Match could have gone either way with both sides failing to capitalise on opportunities given, including myself.
Real happy that we ended on a draw rather than a loss.
Well played to the Legion and good luck in the rest of the season.

I also forgot the onion rings, bread n butter & coranation chicken.
roger was particaully impressed with the mini doughnut balls, i think he stood there long after the match had finished to make sure he'd eaten all of them. 
hopefully the food will continue to be this good! |
