Another solid performance tonight, everyone played very well, with a few twist and turns on some of the frames. Great laugh tonight, don't think I have laugh so much in years!! For the Beans!!
Unlucky to the lads from the Eldon, great bunch of lads, all the best to the them for the remainder of the League Cup and the Winter Season.
Onwards and upwards now, with the Hotshots next week, sexy pool will need to be played by us, otherwise it could cost us the eggs!! lol
Not a good night from our point of view.....but credit to the stelfs, they played well. However, the table doesn't help....has an interesting roll on it, and there are certain shots that are impossible due to the upright on the bar being in the way....
View A 5-5 Hot Shots Thats right you read it correctly! Did the hot shots turn up tonight taking us seriously? probably not. Is it fair to say they didnt play well on our table? yes. Would we have taken 5 all before the games started? you bet. Were we lucky? No, we are a bit gutted with a 5-5 we had great chances in two of the frames we lost tonight and we were leading 5-3 only for hot shots to dig deep and win the last two. Still we feel we deserve a moment of glory so hope hotshots dont mind this post to much but to have a team as good as them explaining they are not worried about a 5-5 with us because they won 10-0 in the round before felt good.we won 9-1 away by the way that round to the earl of eldon (its not recorded on the league table). We were missing one of our best players tonight but We did winter league division 4 proud and with untouchables next week we need a similar standard of play. Still It was a good laugh and hot shots are a good bunch and took the result gracefully i hope you go on to have a good season
