A big win needed for The oakies tonight. To stand any chance of competing we need at least a minimum of 8 frames so hopefully The beechtree lads, will be out of thier faces lol...
Maple Tree Away to The folly and Farley Eden A Away to farley dukes, another mid table clash vs 1st and 2nd place and quite a few frames could be nicked at these games.
Siht or bust tonight for the Top 3 teams............

lets face it this is going to the wire! with all respects to the beechtree you would expect the cookies to post a bigger result in tonight as opposed to us and the eden which will set up a last week shoot out between 3 times for the top spot!
the dukes play attacking pool n have some good players well capable of taking frames!
no nothing about the folly except everyone saying how good the food is so im starving myself for the occasion!!!
should be a good match and im sure they will be up for it!
we may need a bigger boat..! |

Title over maple trees 8-2 win have sealed it no chance now 6 points behind
Unbelieveable events happened tonight which has forced this to be one of my last posts as an Eden player

A good performance on an iffy table. Other results have gone our way too, I think that we need 5 next week to guarantee the title. |

 cheers faz but we wont be celebrating until we have the 5 frames on the board against the waddon next week!
never would have predicted the results that happened this week so as they say it aint over till the fat lady sings! (we got no fat lady in our team so hopefully niall will do the job for us next week )
good bunch the folly! a nice pub and the food was ace deffo on a par with the beechtree!
the table was a bit of a lottery and both teams suffered so lots of scrappy frames and not much good pool on show!

flying machine 8 - 2 seamen.
score is very flattering, 6-4 would of been better maybe, but we took our chances when we had them.
sad to see the seamen go down as they are a good laugh.

We rode our luck at times last night, but its a great result for us. We need to beat the Seamen next week to ensure we dont finish bottom, and we'll deffo give it our all. Cheers as always to the Oakies, cracking bunch of lads. No doubt we'll be seeing ya in the winter.

We definitely didn't roll over for the Farley Eden 'A' . If only all matches had gone like that... Looks like the title will go to the Maple Tree unless something major occurs next week. |
