Farley Small Potatoes 6-4 Jolly Sailor

A great start for us going 3-0 up but after a few closely fought frames and an unlucky Spud sinking the black out of turn, the Jolly Sailor pulled it back to
4-3 in their favour.

A good finish from the Spuds gave the final result giving us our first win of the season

It could have gone either way with the majority of frames being a battle over the black. So cheers guys and we look forward to the rematch at yours

Misfits 5 ? 5 Floozies

After losing the first set 4-1 (and having had my frame claimed as I was held up at a school meeting ? sorry!!), we won the first 4 frames of the second set to lead 5-4. Unlucky to lose the last one but I?m still delighted with a draw in the circumstances.

Forum B 3 v 7 The Ship

Same as the previous week we went into a 4-1 lead(again having the run of the balls) only this week we managed to close the game out early in the second set .. another late finish for us, I can honestly say no way will 15 frames ever work in the lower leagues.
As normal the Forum were good hosts and there was some good banter .. hopefully this result keeps us top thumb

p.s well done to the small spuds on your first win, lets hope it's the first of many Smile

better halfs 6 langley 4

we had a very week side last night and having go 3-0 down was expecting to get stuffed but got it back to 3-3 rest of the games were close on the last frame was won by a fantastic double from the better halfs player to take the win.

never the less would of took 6-4 or even 7-3 at the start of the game

like to welcome big jake to our squad sould be a very good signing for us

so this result does keep you top waynie looks like the ship is the team to catch this season thumb
