Hurricanes 4 - 6 Coach & Horses
Well played to the Coach, who brought over their strongest team, and played very well. Gutted to lose my second game to an outrageously fluked black, and this was probably the turning point in the game.
On a positive note - we did have 5 players!!!!!!  |

Goodfellas 7 - Imperials 3
To be honest, we expected more of a fight from the Imps but, for some reason, they were more interested in playing their own mini-tournament on their own table down the stairs than bothering to support their team-mates or, on occasion, even provide a referee.
Night dragged on a bit too, as we often had to wait for the players to sort themselves out down at their own table before making the lonely trip up the stairs into our waiting circle of support.
Not the usual social event that a Goodfellas v Imps match usually is but we got the job done and I think the Imps realised their mini-tournament probably cost them vital frames, as concentration and support was seriously lacking.
Look forward to the return match but don't worry, rest assured we'll be concentrating then too.

Charles 'Chuckie' Burrows plays for Farley Eden A and therefore wasn't at Rileys Purley Way last night, so I doubt he has an opinion on this at all.

well played boys i think thats our 1st win of the season 8 2 very nice win an my 1st game 2 and 2 1st visit finish's as well happy days. im not playin this summer but turned up 2 watch the boys
back at the legion oh well cant wait 4 summer an golf again |

Yes Mark we were CRAP. i did watch most of the games and was ref for 2 i think ? well played to you boys hope we can make a match of it next time.
