Crikey who fed you THAT info?!!

Farnsworth beat Dempsey 5-4 in the final frame of the 5th set. Great game towards the end - Stephen Dempsey is a great player and was desperately unfortunate not to be in the Semis, but Farnsworth is truly awesome. Scary pool.

I find it hard to believe anyone could stop him retaining his title - even Morris.

Carl beat Marc 2-0 in a best of 3 set final because Marc wanted to catch the last train home apparantly !!

Well done Carl.

They didn't split the money 50/50 but yes there was a bit of a carve up.
The final was effectively worth a few hundred pounds to the winner.

So they took an equal split and played for a few hundred?

No I was just checking the split was equal as one player was shortening the match distance - I wondered if he had to pay Carl off to do that.
