Maple Tree 5 - 5 Beechtree
Very enjoyable evening at the Maple Tree. Only got there when 3-0 down, and were 4-1 down at the break. 12 hours on a flight from Johannesbourg to Heathrow via Zurich, 5 hours on a bus to Swansea and a four hour drive, but to draw with the Maple is a fantastic booster for us.
Results like this could keep us in this division, but we'll have to perform a lot more like this during the season. Two fantastic b/d from one of the Maple Tree, can't recall blokes name, but he just didn't look like missing any of his shots.
Personally 2/2 for me, but first required massive stroke of fortune, and 2nd required an uncharateristic miss from Casey.
We'll take the draw. See you back at ours guys

Oakies 5 - 5 Seaman - on reflection a fair result to be honest....missing a few players and on recent results it shows. The excuses are already flowing for being unable to travel to Biggin Hill next week....cue our second win

Farley Loyalists 3-7 The Folly
Probably the best team performance we have put in for about 2 years.
The Loyalists as always gave us a great game and it was good nights pool. Look forward to seeing them later in the season at our place. |

How laughable that the Eden luvvies have contrived to have a match postponed. I mistakenly thought that they were totally against any postponements. Where were they all ? On holiday ? I'm sorry but I find this pathetic excuse unacceptable. You can register up to twelve players and you only need five to play a match. There should be an immediate comittee enquiry and a walkover win should be awarded to the Flying Machine, who are obviously far too charitable for their own good !! |

yep another one of those nights for us at home v the beechtree last night! 4-0 up we was looking for a big win but then it all went very pear shaped! had a couple of gud chances in the 2nd half but didnt take advantage! credit to the beechtree who fought back very well for the draw. will look forward to the return at our old haunt! well played fellas.

we may need a bigger boat..! |

You don't even think about the game when you're playing it, so why what's new there?

Faz,what a wonderful reply you have given to my legitimate comments concerning your feeble outfit and their dodgy practices . I can see why you were attracted to join the other morons in the Eden team . I suggest that you would be better advised to forget about pool for a while and perhaps spend some of your leisure time on learning how to spell and construct an intelligible sentence !! |

pat, you only need 3 players to play a match and still win 6-4.
yes of course we could said no and claimed it, but wheres the fun in that? re-arranging just means to that we get another night to get wasted and attempt to play pool in the process.
faz, well done at the worlds mate.
mark, p*ss of back to your own division. yes, you might be 100% acurate, but still p*ss off.
on a different note, we might change venues nxt season tot he pub up the top of bigign hill, but play all our home games on a monday night as beer is ?1.49 a pint on mondays. |

Mr pondlife,
not that its any of your business, but i think i should put you on the straight and narrow. The eden currently only have 7 players registered for the summer season, 5 of which are on holiday. I know you like to think your quite intellectual but obviously your not to hot on your maths so i will help you out a bit
ARE YOU READY??? 7 -5 =2 registered players......
You see pat its not so hard is it. I know when you get to your age your brain starts to forget the basics of life like wiping your own ass and doing simple calculations but hey thats life, we all get old pat, just try not to be so bitter about it all the time.
I hope this resolves any uncertainties you may have had about this postponed match.
And pat me old mate just you hang in there..............

Alex, Truey, Etc... just ignore your abusive insults but, you may find the young boys on the block, love it... As The Power would say... "They are different gravey" ... They will not rest until they reel you in...

spoken luke a true master dave you never go home on a fishing trip empty handed most people don't reply to our jibes as they are far superior than the rotting pondlife who has less brain mass than a pidgeon. No sorry that's an insult to a pidgeon has equal brain mass to a pidgeon and also share the same blank expressions as a pidgeon with his sharp beak and Beady eyes and as pondy is growing a few reeds getting on a bit you know may I say feathery to the touch
