As you can see, there were a lot of postponements last night, making this the lowest number of games being played on a designated match night.

I heard that the match between Paul and John was not completed. Is the result to stand or are they to play the remaining frames?

A note for all players who may, at any point, need to postponed or rearrange matches:

The rules state that players must contact the organiser in order to rearrange matches. The best way to do this is by phone/text directly to me (07775 791 910). That way, I can contact the other player immediately, as I have everyone's numbers, and sort it out quickly. Please do not rely on a PM on this site to get to me in time. Most times I will pick up the PM in time, but not always. I will, however, always get the text, as my phone is never off.

The other alternative is to post on the CSL thread for 'someone' to contact your opponent. This may end up being me, or it may be someone else who happened to read it (possibly even the player themself). Again, there is a chance this won't get seen in time by someone who has the person's number, so a text to me is still the best way.

Remember, if you don't have my number to hand but you're online, I am the secretary of Goodfellas, so my number is also on the contact list at the top of the home page.

Thanks Grin

At this stage it's not important but it will be when it comes to doling out the cash: What determines league placings when there is a tie on points? My record and Lloyd's are identical but I would have thought I would be above him on the head to head result.

Crikey, 4 weeks in and you're planning your shoppping spree already Wink

To answer your question, it's in the rules:

Final league placing will be determined in order of the most points won. If two players are level on points, the number of matches won, then the number of frames scored will be the deciding factor. If the players are still level after the head-to-head record is taken into account, then whoever got to the 6 frames first will be on top.

Not planning anything mate, not the way I played last night.

I thought that was the case - presumably you can't override that on the website. First to get to 6 - I hope you keep all the result sheets!!

Standings can be over-ridden on the site, so when it comes to the final stages, where money matters, I can 'tweak' positions if needs be.

As for the result sheets, I have kept every single one I have received (including for CSL III). Obviously, if people have played matches and not bothered giving me the result sheet (or leaving them behind the bar with Hannah of course), then I can't possibly know who got to 6 first.

Top tip: Always make sure I get the result sheets back. It could save a lot of moaning later.
