Patriots 8-2 The Jolly
same score as last night, same pattern of wins too, a 7 ball and a lucky win - again we had chances....although better ones tonight.
Tony, and team, well done |

I can indeed confirm these two scores from tonight.
Game 1: Bloodhounds 3 - 7 Eagles
A very strong showing from the Eagles - took their chances as usual. Wins came from me and Nel - well done mate (2 out of 2 again).
Game 2: Bloodhounds 7 - 3 Slates
A horrible in-off put us one nil down. Should really have then been two down, but a relatively straight forward clearance was missed by them. At 1-1, we then won 6 of the next 7 games (just missed out in the last) - well done lads!! |

Nel and I. Not an English teacher I take it. It didn't surpise me you did better in Game 2, could have had a couple more against us, no doubt.

legion 5-5 bromley cuemasters!
good comeback from 1-4 down last night but overall a poor match in terms of qaulity. top bunch the legion boys and will be a shame to see them dissapear from the top division again. like most teams this season not being able to field there strongest line up consistently has cost them. with the pond losing and the hounds beating the slates last night it pretty much sorts out the bottom of the table.

we may need a bigger boat..! |

I'm afraid I do teach English mate. Of course I was aware of the poor grammar, but I just had to put my name first...... because it's all about me!! |

Hate to correct you both but it should be 'Nel and me' in this context. |

Pond Poo's 4-6 The Mighty Eden
2-0 down, then 3-2 down after the first set, my players answered the question whether they wanted Div 1 next season. Quality 2nd half performance.
Barry Watkins was superb, as was Scott Lansing who nearly went back to back with B&D's. For the Pond, Rawlings as solid as ever and both McGinty's playing well in the opening 2 frames of the night.
It will be shame to see such a handsome bunch of lads disappear back into the lower echelons of this league. And knowing we sent them back there brings a tear to my eye... |

A very poor result for us last night against an extremely average side !! To be beaten by a hotchpotch of Dukes rejects and Eden luvvies was almost too much to bear. Alex's tantrum was the highlight of the evening. He really has lost the plot completely. He feels that the whole world is against him and he's probably right !! The major comfort is the prospect of them having a season- long struggle next winter to try and preserve their top division status. This will no doubt follow another feeble attempt by them to win one of the lower divisions in the summer league !! Happy Days !! |

It was quite strange because Alex was actually on the black ball. I don't remember him ever getting that far against one of our players so he was naturally quite excited . He was pacing around the table like a demented Harry Potter lookalike when one of our team thought that he should move away from being in his line of sight. All hell was let loose as he accused our player of deliberately putting him off. Just as that disagreement was settled,a young lady came around to collect the empty glasses from our team. The Eden hadn't finished their team pint of orange-squash with ten straws,so the lady left that on their table. Alex maintained that the whole world was actively conspiring to prevent him winning his first game of the season. If the time-clock had been in use,I would have called a foul against Alex and he would have lost. He must try harder to control his emotions and speed up. He also must accept that he will never be any good at the game !! If he didn't run the team, there is no way that he would be picked. There must be loads of better players in the Farley who could be conned into joining the Eden rabble-rousers !! |

Patrick,Patrick,Patrick.....It never ceases to amaze me at some things you say - We all are very aware that Alex was down on the shot & about to pot the black when your player shot out of his chair in what can only be described at an attempt to put him off - This was not just us who saw this, you can check with Kyle & Francois who do not play for us - End result was right though as he won the frame & we won the match
One thing i am still unsure about though is why a certain member of your team won't shake hands - is it over that incident well over 5 years ago - Silly really or was it because he messed up on the table ag the boy wonder Barry watkins
Still good result for us considering i probably played as bad as i have done for a number of years - looks like i am not needed though as we still won at a canter
HOW LONG LEFT ? |

Pat, perhaps when you have the NUTS to get your cue out, chalk it up, and then put your name down on the scorecard each week, I may take you seriously. Until then, do your team a favour, they really don't need you around - you are a hinderance to them.
Your son, Andrew, is an honest boy, he called a foul on himself last night. As a result he then gets told by his team mates to have kept his mouth shut and then told 'you know your father would not approve of that'. That was just one of numerous unsporting examples.
We fully expected an indifferent reaction if it was to be us that had the task of bringing a close to yet another brief and bleak chapter of Pond Life in Division 1 pool .You haven't disappointed us again this season. You are after all not called the Yo Yo Boys for nothing.
Not once this season have you stood up and posted on this site that as a team you have not done enough or been good enough to have what it takes to have your team name printed in black and white in next seasons Div 1 fixture lists. It's called honesty Pat, take a leaf from your son, and until you can find some of that and pass that on to certain members of your team - you will never have what it takes to consistently hack it in Division 1.
In every sport Patrick, there are winners and there are losers. I'll leave you to ponder on that one.

I couldn't help but noticing pat that you
Kept muttering dukes reject under your breath every time I approached the table, now for a elderly gentleman I find this extremely childish behaviour maybe your going through some sort of mid life crisis and feel acting in such a way may roll back the clock who knows, I actually felt embarassed for you and your team. If you actually had the bottle to pick up a cue and play rather than just mock and criticise you might earn a little respect however I doubt it. On the plus side we did relegate you, just my opinion but this can only be good news for you and your frogs as you are no where near the standard to ever win any sort of praise let alone trophies in division one. Maybe if you and your frogs do win some sort of trophies in the lower divisions you can donate them to the emirates trophy cabinet I hear they are in dire need of 1. Last of all pat you strike me as man who likes to think he is intelligent if you look up the word reject it depicts someone who is not wanted I for one can say I left the dukes on my accord and they did want me to say. Now take your little frogs back to div2 and we will maybe see you in a couple of seasons LOL

I find it highly laughable that the Eden luvvies respond to fully-deserved criticism in such a pathetic manner. As I've rightly said, your assembled conglomerate of intellectually challenged morons deserve each other. Nobody, but nobody likes your team or respects it. I don't think that you are aware of the animosity that you breed and attract on a very regular basis. I think that it's really sad that you managed to con any retards into joining your rabble which only served to extend your teams existence. God speed the day when it will eventually disband . Then we can all get some peace !! |

Patrick, the only thing remotely 'laughable' is the FACT you are returning back to Division 2.

I didn't watch much of the game but the pond were shi.t I was more amused by the look of rabble on the team mungo jerry who doesn't like shaking hands the oap patrick who can't play for medical reasons something like he lost his bottle I don't know and then the muppet aka distractor when alex is on a black which was very important not that the ponds feeble tactics worked as the power powered the black home. Last but not least what amused me most was the brothers who are decent guys but blessed with awful luck I can only imagine that something like them were produced in what I can say as a chemical spillage LOL fishing. Don't think my rod will reach to the murky depths of division 2. I would also like to say arsenal will have another trophyless season and it's something the pond have learned to come to grips with like their beloved arsenal DISAPPOINTMENT. Arsene wenger is a paedo and runs arsenal pat is what can only be blatently put as hmmm a wan.ker and runs the pond. I'm going to miss these banter sessions god bless the pond the mighty Eden will miss you all our love your condemers to the lower leagues.

Must be easy for the Eden to criticise from the lofty position of 5 points above the relegation zone.
Eden are the Spurs of pool - Think they are better than they are, always talking of being a big great team, but always end up with mid table obscurity or in a relegation battle, with a little cup run. Think they are clever but really everyone thinks they are just a sad bunch of muppet's !!!
Just avoided relegation, another great season, I'm sure you'll do better next time, no really, a top 3 spot beckons, there putting your name on the trophy now, booking you a spot at Yarmouth for Champion of Champions, getting the t-shirts made now, Nike want to sponsor the team. (sorry if the spellings wrong, couldn't stop myself laughing)
Get the trophy room ready I'm sure the division 16 summer league trophy will be coming back to Edens mighty and well stocked trophy room.
At least from where you are the only way is up, i mean your to good to go down aren't you ????

Must be even easier to cricticise when you don't even play in the *******1ing league. From what I hear Eden have been playing in division 1 for over 10 years without being relegated that kind of says it all wether we are good enough. I shouldn't really judge your criticism though as I hear your and ex nine pool pro who cracked America... What a load of old b0llocks
