Many apologies Berty. . . Seems you posted your thread whilst I was creating mine.

I'm sure the powers that be will sort it out.

Sean, well said mate on the previous thread.

5 games remaining and it IS the closest title contest we have had since the early 90's. 4 teams all still in with a shout of the ultimate prize Croydon pool offers.

Top of the table matches all being contested at Suzy's.

Here are my predictions:

Unpreds 5-5 Foreign Legion
Best prediction here is the match won't start until gone 8.30pm when the Legion roll into town! On the pool front, you have to feel the Legion need 3 wins from their last 5 to have any chance of Div 1 pool next season. Unpreds off the back of a spanking last week, makes this a draw.

Bloodhounds 7-3 Pond Q's
Must win game for both teams. Hounds have a horrible run in over the last 4 games so have they left their Houdini act too late this time around? Pond Q's surely have left it too late to survive the drop and they are getting some good draws here and there but that won't be enough. Tonight, the Hounds can place one of their feet back into Div 2.

Eagles 6-4 Hot Shots
Make or break for Hot Shots. Win this and it opens the title race wide open for them. Squad wise the Eagles have the strength in depth. Surely Halligan, Altes and Synman will play twice and it will come down to who wins the other battles. Will be a close match but Ego's to just nick it in the deciding frame.

London Snooker 3-7 Cuemasters
It was a thrasing of all proportions last week for the London boys, and they are very much back in the relegation fight. The London Snooker boys all play a terribly open game for the 1st division and you just feel its taking its toll on them. Cuemasters will just love the open games and on the back of a good win against us last week should win smartly tonight.

Propeller 7-3 Patriots
1st half of the season the Prop destroyed the Patriots and I can't see any other result. Patriots must win to keep their dream alive and the likes of Jacko, Richards, Gater and Thompson will need to top perform for them. Prop will have one eye on the Eagles result, and will hope Hot Shots give them the opportunity to narrow the gap on the Ego's.

Eden 5-5 Jolly
We are down to the bare bones tonight and have just about got 5 together, with Pedro making his league debut, Keith in the over 70's category joining him. We are now 8 games without a win but last night was our best team performance for a while. I guess anything tonight is a bonus for us as the Jolly will come down with a stronger team, so I would just love to spank the Jolly with your old age pensioners playing!
