The Jolly 5 - 5 Farley Eden,
no going easy mentality was the aim of the night, yet we were 3-0 down and all going wrong...pulled 2 back quickly and carried on to get the frames we needed to finish top
2 good wins from Frank Pickfod and myself doing the job and a clean finish from James for the other
home game v Rack Pack or Farley Dukes in Quarter Finals from what we have been told, should be good
meaning Patriots V Hotshots in another QF - great match up there
see the Eden tomorrow at their's in the League, cheers lads |

Prop 7 - 3 Bloodhounds
This should be enough to see us through, although I don't think any of their players would've complained if this had finished 5-5. Apart from a Dolan dish in set 2, every frame was close.
I think we have the Eagles next - apparently we are their bogey-team! I like it!!  |

When you lead the opening set on three occasions, 4-1 (Hot Shots), 3-2 (Forum), 3-2 (Jolly) and then take 4 frames out of the last 15 frames. You deserve nothing.
On a normal league night you'll probably take a 5-5 at the Jolly, last night, credit where its due they stuck at the task and didn't roll over. Whether we were better than a 5-5 it really doesn't matter when at the end of the day we needed more.
As for tonight Sailor, as mentioned to you yesterday we may have to postpone tonights league match as we can barely get 3 out. I'll let you know by lunch time if thats okay. |
