young guns 5 suzys 5
had a ok night but only turned up with 5 players and myself i am not playing good so did not want to play but had to girls played well they have got better since the first half of the season. I think maybe it would be better if the refs were more clear (ie who is ref,to call whos shoot,to call fauls rather then the players calling them) sorry but it was a bit of a shambles but maybe thats the way they do it know.Anyway good luck girls hope you do well for the rest of the season.
(it would seem that we are have a few problems again with players not turning up just hope we can sort ourselfs out from now on)

I thought the draw was a fair result on the night for both sides. There wasn't any earth shattering pool played by either side and nobody really deserved to win it.

I'm not aware of a situation where a player called a foul but I wasn't watching every second of every game. It's not the refs responsibility to call whose turn it is each shot (it can actually be construed as coaching), however fouls should be called clearly and it's courtesy to call which colour a player is on at their first approach to the table to play a shot after colours have been decided and at the end of two visits so the player knows it now their turn. I will certainly speak to my team and make sure they are aware of the above.

I was however made aware of an incident at the start of the match where one of your players offered advice to the player at the table. Since I didn't witness the incident and it was not repeated I let it go, but given you have raised issues here I thought it appropriate to mention it so perhaps you could mention to your team that coaching is against the rules of the game as in different circumstances an issue might have been made of it.

Good luck for the rest of the season. I hope you get your strongest team together from here on in.

Farley Untouchables 8 - Wickham Wanderers 2

Score a little flattering for the Untouchables this evening as we were 0-1 down then 1-2 down and just managed to win the first set 3-2. From there we played much better pool. I think Complacency is starting to creep in as we couldnt get going the first set and most games could have swung either way. I think tho in the second set reality kicked in and the lads performed much better as i said. Test of charactor tonight and im delighted with the team reply from the first set. And to be honest Wickham played well in the first set and were unlucky not to win more frames.
Well played to wickham and good luck for the rest of the season.
(side-note)....Apart from the floozies i think so far wickham are the most improved side in Div 5 compared to the first half....playing against Untouchables that is.

If Carlsberg made pool players they would play like me.

Before Snickers I'm outta here
After Snickers boxer

Thanks Sly294 for the kind comments, we need them!!
Hopefully we will get a similar scoreline in our rearranged fixture with Ruskin House.
And just to stress again we will be there until the end of the season.

HI THANKS FOR THE COMMENT IM WAS NOT DIGGING JUST MAKING YOU AWARE OF OUR VIEWS AND I KNOW THE FRAME YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT IT WAS THE FIRST FRAME WHEN YOUR PLAYER MADE A FOUL BREAK MY PLAYER ASKED MY REF THE RULE WAS IT TWO SHOOTS AND A OPEN TABLE BECAUSE HE DID NOT KNOW WHO YOUR REF WAS AS THE LADY IN QUESTION WAS TALKING TO HER PARTNER AND READING SOMETHING. I WILL LET MY TEAM KNOW THAT WE NEED TO MAKE SURE THEY KNOW WHO THE REF IS BEFORE THE GAME HAS STARTED.
HOPE YOU DO WELL FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON AS YOU ARE PLAYING BETTER THEN THE FIRST HALF OF THE SEASON
WELL DONE & GOOD LUCK
