Elmer Cuemasters 7 - 3 Bromley Cuemasters. Early frames could have gone either way but Elmer Cuemasters deserved their glory tonight after our plate win earlier this year. Some big finishes when it mattered and not one of our better nights. Dave Mac and Si won well though. All to do in the final week against the Eagles. Maybe the best thing any Coney player ever did (Berty) was to vote for two teams to go through the 2nd stage....

Eagles 8 Legion 2 nice dish by Hughie but Kyle and Shaggy were awsome tonight, the legion were missing Clive and Steve turned up late so bit easier for us but still a great result for us tonight.

yes as mavis said it was a deserved victory for the elmer boys tonight and we really have no complaints what so ever! as luke said we had decent chances in the 1st four frames but failed to really take advantage of them and apart from dave mac and simon who both took out some good finishes but in general we were poor! special mention to adam on the elmer team who put in a very good performance and croydons quickest player dave rymer who also played well! overall a good team performance from them and now they have a great chance of winning the group.

The Farley Dukes 4 - The Patriots 6
A great match with many of the games being close, although I do feel that The Farley Dukes should have taken an extra frame or two.violin
Mark Bannister done a great clearance against Graham Thompson with an amazing cut across double on the black into the corner to finish it off in style!!!applause An impressive clearance from Tony Jackson.
An enjoyable evening if a bit long and drawn out. zzz

great result for the jolly, would make sense for them to go 'easy' on the eden hence to eliminate hotshots from the competition... lightning don't strike twice!!!
the eden will obviously be dissappointed with their result but this puts them right back in the mix and with their fighting team spirit i'd back them to make it to the next stage

No going easy unfortunately, not in our nature, but we are hitting a bit of form..and the Eden are a good team, should be fun.

both myself, Chris and Steve won both games last night and we were unlucky not to get more, we carry that form on in the league and we will be fine

The Hotshots can play a hell of a lot better than last night, but 7-3 against any of the top teams is a great result for us...
strangely...

well after last night we will be lucky to get 2 frames over both matches, as once again we completey folded - rubbish performance 2-0 down 3-2 up & then a major chance to win each of the next 5 only to take 1 is a disgrace......well played to Tony Clarke in particular with 1 B/D & another sick finish for 2/2 & Baylis who looked as dangerous as he did when i 1st played him over 10 years ago he was also 2/2....

In closing rapid improvement needed to stay in this comp & div 1
HOW LONG LEFT ?

For anyone who cares about our group:

Propellor 17
Bloodhounds 11
Imperials 6
Slates 6

Final Fixtures: Prop V Hounds
Imperials V Slates (may be the other way round)

Can we add ANOTHER losing semi-finalist trophy to our cabinet.... well.... shelf.... ok.... it's more like a little corner of the bar!! Grin
